This afternoon

There in the road
to my afternoon walk
there is a change of the air
i try to understand what changed

I turn my head behind
its you walking nearby
I want to see you, to shout to you
I want to say 'I want you'

You feel what i can say
You sense what i feel
and you turn to me
you look at me

The hearts are burning, the time stops
I tremble I shiver
You finally walk to me
and you hold my hand

The eyes can say more in silence
the heartbeat sounds sound at this moment
you are coming to my life finally
I finally am worth the happiness i missed
