A sad dream

When i closed my eyes today
I saw in a dream my previous days
Shiny, full of joy days
in a city with many people

everywhere i saw friendly faces
we had laughs, we had fun
we were many, we were one
shiny smiles on shiny faces

you can ask why is it a sad dream?
because the shiny days became cold
because the streets now are full of strangers
because all have faded away..

no more dreams now
but memories of old..
